Printable Masks

  • -

It’s October and you know what that means? That’s right – Halloween! We know deciding on a costume can be difficult, and we bet you’re probably sick of googling costume ideas. Well, we want to help make your lives a little easier, so get creative with us and DIY your own mask this Halloween with Stella Rosa Wines.

We’ve created a selection of our limited edition skulls that are download-ready, but there is also a blank mask option for you to color and fill in with your favorite colors. We recommend using cardstock since it’s thicker and more durable than normal writing paper. These masks make great Halloween costumes and can be just as fun for your Day of the Dead celebrations.

10 Nights of Stellaween Movies, Tricks & Treats

  • -

Happy Stellaween! In honor of our favorite holiday, we’ve round up 10 of the best scary movies and paired them with Stella Rosa wines, cocktails, and Halloween treats. Read on to stellabrate with us and eat, drink, and be SCARY!

Sleepy Hollow
(1999): Platinum & Caramel Apple

Can’t seem to get into the Halloween spirit? Keep your head up and settle into Sleepy Hollow with a glass of Stella Rosa Platinum! Try pairing Platinum with a caramel apple. Its notes of crisp green apple and creamy vanilla bring out the tangy, sweet, and decadent flavors of this classic fall treat.

Hocus Pocus (1993): Stella’s Witches Brew

There’s no better movie to get us into the spirit of All Hallows’ Eve than Hocus Pocus. We have a Stella Rosa Witches Brew punch recipe inspired by the hilariously charming, yet dangerously evil witches in the flick that they would die for!

1 packet raspberry drink mix
3 quarts chilled club soda
4 bottles chilled Stella Rosa Berry
1 block dry ice

1. In a large punch bowl, stir together raspberry drink mix and club soda until mix is dissolved. Stir in remaining ingredients.
2. Place punch bowl into a larger bowl, and add dry ice to larger bowl.

Psycho (1960): Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail

Don’t let the name trick you-this cocktail is blood red, which is why we paired it with the blood-curdling thriller, Psycho, the perfect classic thriller to watch while you’re sipping on this hair-raisingly delicious cocktail. Find the recipe on our website, here.

Halloween (1978): Stella Rosa Rosso

We found it only fitting to pair our original Stella Rosa flavor, Rosso, with the all-time classic horror flick, Halloween. It’s sure to put you in the spirit for tricks and treats! After all, it’s Halloween; everyone’s entitled to one good scare.

Sweeney Todd (2007): Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pies & Stella Rosa Red

Flavors of wild strawberry, raspberry, and red plum in Stella Rosa Red stand up to the rich, savory flavors of a devilishly delicious Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pie. Our favorite recipe is here. Use any meats in the pie you prefer (just like Mrs. Lovett!) and serve with Stella Rosa Red at Halloween dinner while you belt out the lyrics to your favorite Sweeney Todd song.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993): Cocavino Cocktail

Our Stella Rosa Cocavino is an easy-drinking cocktail that’s scary good. Find it on our YouTube channel, here. Instead of the lime wheel, dress it up with a Halloween straw or even gummy worms hanging on the rim of the glass, The Oogie Boogie Man’s favorite treat!

The Addams Family (1991): Shaken, Never Stirred Cocktail

This elegant cocktail would be Gomez Addams’ favorite! We changed up the olive garnish in addition to using a sword cocktail pick instead of a regular one. Click here for the Shaken, Never Stirred recipe on our website.

Eyeball Garnish Ingredients
Cocktail onions
Pimento olives
Sword cocktail pick

1. Cut pimento olives in half.
2. Place a halved pimento olive in the center of a cocktail onion.
3. Skewer cocktail onion, going through halved pimento olive to secure it in place.

The Shining (1980): Rum 237 Cocktail
Here’s Stella! This movie terrifies us, but it’s one of the best horror films ever made so we had to include it! This cocktail is inspired by Room 237, the haunted hotel room from The Shining. We dare you to watch it with the lights out.

2 oz. rum
3 oz. Stella Rosa Red
7 raspberries

The Ring (2002): Creepy Fingers & Stella Rosa Black

Who wants to put a ring on these creepy fingers? The Ring is hauntingly unforgettable. We get shivers down our spine just thinking about it! Snuggle up with your boo and enjoy a glass of Stella Rosa Black while munching on these Creepy Fingers. Find the recipe here.

Beetlejuice (1988): Ghost With the Most Margarita
If you prefer treats over tricks and or just need a break from the scary Halloween movies, check out Beetlejuice. Our Ghost With the Most cocktail uses Stella Rosa Moscato D’Asti, adding a slight sparkle and perfect amount of sweetness to this ghoulishly delightful margarita.

2 oz. tequila
1 oz. Stella Rosa Moscato D’Asti
1 oz. triple sec
Juice of 1 lime

Stellaween: A DIY Stella Rosa Halloween Takeover

  • -

Candy, costumes, booze, and boos! It can’t be anything except Halloween – or shall we say, Stellaween! Truth be told, this spooky season is our favorite time of the year because we get to be disguised in some costume-contest-winning-worthy costumes (what a tongue-twister) and enjoy our witches-brewed wine at the same time!

This year, Stella Rosa Black, Platinum, and Red are the gals proudly wearing the costumes we made. Perhaps their eerie presence at your local store caused a hair-raising fright, but if you haven’t spotted them lurking in stores near you, we’ve created downloadable and printable versions for you so it’s easy to do in the safety of your own home.

1. Download Stellaween costumes here: pdf-icon

2. Cut off white borders.

3. Wrap tightly around any flavor of Stella Rosa.

4. Use scotch tape to seal the back.

5. Place costumed bottles on display.

These DIY versions are the perfect, haunting embellishment to your Halloween decorations that will make your guests howl with excitement. And when you all (if you all) manage to survive Halloween night, your party will go to the grave with you as the best Stellaween of all time.

Chocolate:  The sweetness of the caramel in these chocolatey treats stands up well with Stella Rosa Prosecco.  We went ahead and used our Organic Prosecco, made from 100% organically grown grapes.  Yum!
